Recently, Friedrich Lips has founded a fund with the following aims:

Support of the Moscow festival "Bayan and Bayanists" founded by Lips in 1989

Support of young bayanists with scores and instruments

Publication of contemporary works for bayan/accordion

To raise funds, his former Jupiter bayan (made by master Yury K. Volkovitch) on which Lips recorded plenty of works for his CD-series shall be sold to the highest bidder until the end of 2003.
